Atlanta, GA -- Noro-Moseley Partners (NMP), a leading Southeast venture capital firm focused on growing IT and healthcare companies, today announces the appointment of Dr. G.P. “Bud” Peterson to the firm’s Advisory Board.

Named the 11th president of the Georgia Institute of Technology in April 2009, “Dr. Peterson is vitally interested in the development of technology businesses in the Southeast and his advice, relationships and expertise will be of significant benefit to Noro-Moseley and the companies we serve,“ said Charles Moseley, chairman of the Noro-Moseley Partners’ Advisory Board.

“NMP portfolio companies benefit from our investment team and the regular counsel of our Advisory Board.  Dr. Peterson's addition to that group only strengthens our position,” said Moseley.

As President of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Dr. Peterson oversees a top-10 public research university with more than 20,000 students and more than $500 million in sponsored funding. Each institution combines engineering and medicine, areas of importance to the firm,” said Moseley.
